When is the application deadline?
If you are applying for a merit award, the deadline is February 1st. Otherwise,
admission is rolling, so there is no deadline.

Do I have to take the GRE?
If you are planning to apply to either the MAT or MEd programs, the GRE is
required. If you are planning to apply to the certificate program, you do not
need to take the GRE.
Is there a minimum GRE score?
No, we consider the whole application when making admissions decisions.
Do I have to take the Praxis I?
If you are applying to the MAT or certificate programs, you will need to take
the Praxis I in order to be admitted.
Is there a minimum Praxis I score?
Yes, you must earn a passing score. The DC teacher licensing agency sets passing
scores as Reading 172, Writing 171, and Math 174.
